As director of Ministry, Carol will serve in directing and coordinating ministries of care, education and outreach for families of all kinds and ages. Special emphasis will be given to developing ministries for families with children, ministries that reach out to guests in worship, and ministries that connect new member families to their new church family, mission and ministries.
Carol has been an active member of Trinity her whole life. Her involvement in ministry began as a teenager. She was involved in LYF (Lutheran Youth Fellowship), choir, and Sunday School. She served as a Youth Leader, director of Vacation Bible School, and Sunday School Superintendent, and served on many Boards. She has been involved in LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League), women's ministry, and music ministry. She is a trained Stephen Minister, and she also taught at Trinity Lutheran School for several years. She has recently retired from Robinson I.S.D. where she worked for 22 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Carol has been married for 40 years to Cody, who is a carpenter. They have 2 married daughters and 4 wonderful granddaughters.
Pastor Augie Ristow is serving Trinity as an Intentional Interim Pastor. He is a heart connected man who deeply loves his Savior Jesus. He ministers to God's people with an attitude of respect, dignity, honor, and compassion. He leads with a positive spiritual presence.
Pastor Augie is leading Trinity to know and understand God's Agape love, and to help us prepare for calling a new Senior Pastor.
Nikki Skeen has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church her whole life. She is married to Billy Skeen, and they have 2 sons - Michael and Matthew. Nikki currently teaches Preschool Sunday School, is actively involved in Midway PTA, and she and Billy enjoy being involved in Scouting with their boys.
Tim is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and he loves the BearKats. He and his wife, Briana are from Hubbard, TX. They joined Trinity in 2011 and live in Valley Mills with their children, Amelia who is 5 years old and Cooper who is 2 years old. He and Briana have been leading the youth group for several years. Tim also plays bass with the Praise Team. Tim is the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Bosque County Office of Emergency Management. Tim works part-time with high school youth and their families at Trinity.
